Western Michigan Chapter of AFS 87th Annual Golf Outing

Once again it is time for the Western Michigan Chapter of the American Foundry Society Annual Golf Outing at Chase Hammond Golf Course! As always, this is our chapter’s primary fundraiser. Funds generated at this outing and other chapter events are earmarked for the funding of educational assistance for students in foundry and metal casting related disciplines. Last year we generated $25,000 for continuing education.

West Michigan AFS Chapter Meeting – September 15, 2026

The evening will begin with a Board Meeting at 5:00, followed by Social Hour at 6:00, with dinner at 7:00 and our speaker to follow.  The dinner meeting will be held at Bella Maria’s in Norton Shores, MI.  We would like to thank Eagle Alloy, the sponsoring company for this evening’s meeting.

Our speaker is John Engler, former Governor of Michigan.  Governor Engler will speak on what’s at stake for Michigan manufacturing with the upcoming election, drawing on his decades of experience shaping policy at the state and national level.
