The fifth graders were able to experience Foundry in a Box, thanks to a wonderful crew of retired foundry workers who patiently taught our students how die casting works and allowed them the chance to try their own. It is always a highlight to be able to learn about this important trade while partnering with people from the community who are passionate about their work.
