September AFS Chapter Meeting – Sept. 10, 2019

We kick off the 2019-2020 season with an overview of various regulatory changes that have been implemented or are being proposed at the federal and state level. Topics will include the following:

• RCRA Generator Improvement Rule
  • Repeal of Once-In-Always-In policy
  • Aerosol Cans being added to federal Universal Waste list
  • Revisions to New Source Review (NSR) Permitting Process
  • Update on MDEQs progress in issuing General Permits to replace the current Permit-by-Rules (PBRs) for certain water discharges (e.g., industrial storm water, construction storm water)

Our speaker will be Tony Henley, Senior Compliance Manager at August Mack Environmental, Inc. in its Indianapolis, Indiana office. He has eight years of experience in preparing air permit applications, storm water pollution prevention plans, air emission inventories, compliance auditing, spill prevention, containment and countermeasure (SPCC) plans, industrial hygiene consulting and stack testing.

Social Hour 6:00 to 6:45 with dinner and presentation to follow. Bella Maria’s is located at the Oak Ridge Golf Club.
