Jeff Cook and Andy Scherf did an Foundry In a Box for the Grant Cub Scout Pack #4136 Monday night. About 15 kids plus leaders and a few parents. One of the fathers had 27 years at Grand Rapids Castings and was extremely helpful with the demos. He helped us with the sand molding. The scouts had a high school mentor. This past Tuesday’s tours was another fun event. We had Fruitport HS, Coopersville HS and Kent City HS attend. About $15,000 was given away in educational assistance last. The kids really appreciated it and enjoyed the tours. [wonderplugin_gallery id=”10″]
